NEVER expect someone else to explain in text what can be easily explained in voice. If you don't want to use voice you better know the fights. Voice required pug keystones could be a great thing with the inclusion of in game voice, and will probably be my go to for pugging outside of guild. I love doing keystones with guild mates because even if we end up pugging some spots I know the tank and healer will be in voice. I personally don't like to raid with people that can't use voice (at the very least people need to be able to listen), and if the tanks and healers aren't in voice I'm not even interested. The only thing is you can't turn and use that an excuse when find your self unable to excel at certain activities, i.e. I have NO problem with someone not wanting to use voice chat for ANY reason. Some have anxiety, some do not have a microphone, some are introverts, some have bad voices, and others really just do not want to listen to strangers' bad language and whining little kids. I will not be utilizing voice chat in any form.so this should be interesting. I'm looking forward to being kicked out of dungeons for not using a microphone.Įxactly this. from the original skit done back then: Comment by Whizzkid on T02:50:12-05:00 The absolute first thing that came to mind when i saw this. It's 2018 and they finally implement this? What a nice new feature.wow. That's why you'll write a feedback about it with your thoughts! :) Comment by kleman96 on T01:53:04-05:00 I find it funny people complain about how the nintendo switch does not have voice chat and yet here is World of Warcraft one of if not the most popular and profitable MMO's of all time not having the feature Comment by Yswar on T00:24:25-05:00 More interested in the Communities feature instead. I'd like just ONE place where I can actually be myself and not get %^&*ing punished for it. People already abuse the report system to get you silenced in the game, so I'll only use voice chat in WoW if it gives you immunity. Comment by nirv on T22:33:37-05:00Īll I want to know is if your account can be actioned for using voice chat to call somebody a buttmunch. Could easily see this as a minor feature that can actually lead to alot of fun interaction. It's for people who do dungeons or RP to easier communicate and not have to worry about how awkward it would be to ask for a discord link etc (Because who the asks total strangers for that?). It's not something to replace your other comms. People are way too focused on the negative aspect. LUL like it was hurting your soul destorying something inside you xD how can you be tired by having software on your ssd/hdd. I'm tired of having 5 different voice chat options depending on what the leader likes. I would like it for precisely that reason. too many guilds use stuff like discord, ventrillo,TS3,skype. Currently, the system lacks any further sound customization and sounds a bit weird in-game, but those issues will be likely fixed as the Battle for Azeroth testing progresses. Besides that, everyone currently speaking will also have their names and portrait shown at the top of the chat box. The first button opens the old Chat Channels menu that has received updates to support the new Voice system, while the latter two provide basic tools for it. There are three new buttons added to the default chat box: By default, the voice comms use ` as the push-to-talk key. Once you're in a group a toast message will show up, from where you can enter the voice channel. Join a group! (Currently, it doesn't work with raid groups) The first step to get the voice chat to work is. Please feel free to post your feedback on this new feature here in this thread. You'll find the voice chat controls along the left side of the text chat window, and you can configure your devices and push-to-talk in the Voice Chat section of System settings. Voice chat in the Battle For Azeroth Alpha is now enabled and ready for early testing and feedback.
